Philosophy
While making my rounds in the district, I often get asked for which party am I running. I’m running as an independent because I want to focus on the business of Westmoreland County. I have absolutely no political ambitions beyond a seat at the Board of Supervisors. I want our county’s accomplishments to be independent of the confusion we’ve had to see in the media.
Bottom Line: I will only discuss the business of Westmoreland County while I am on this journey with you.
Priorities
Months ago, I attended a Board of Supervisors meeting where it was brought to the board’s attention that a very old, abandoned home, which sat near a creek with oyster beds was crumbling. The concern was the house was old and likely contained asbestos. The urgency to carefully and methodically remove that home from next to the creek as soon as possible was not lost on me. Wetland protection, clean and safe roads, effective schools and public services, infrastructure projects that match the growth of our county, and opportunities that offer our younger generations the option to remain in Westmoreland County are my highest priorities.
